Day 1 : Arrival in Chiclayo Upon arrival a host will meet you and assist you in transferring to the hotel and help you in registering. Morning visit to the archaeological complex of Sipan located in the site called Huaca Rajada which comprises two huge pyramids mad of adobe mud in front of which there is a platform, dating back a thousand years before the Incas, where recently two two of the most famous pre-Columbian tombs were found undisturbed: the tombs of the Lord of Sipan his ancestor, the Old Lord. Continue to the Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum, inspired by the Mochica pyramids, this new museum inaugurated in November 2002 is rated as one of the most outstanding archaeological museums in South America. Here you can find a reconstruction of the tomb of Sipan, dubbed the "Tutankhamen of the Americas" because of the golden splendor of his tomb: hundreds of pieces of pottery and exquisite gold jewelry. |

Arrival airport transfer in Chiclayo, excursion to the Lord of Sipan site, Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum, transfer to Trujillo in bus, visit the Huaca del Sol y la Luna, tour of Chan Chan, departure airport transfer in Trujillo, service of a licensed bilingual tour guide, all entrance fees, one night of hotel accommodation, daily breakfast, hotel tax and service charge.
